The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd is located at 7420 Fourth Avenue (between Bay Ridge Parkway (75th Street) and 74th Street, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and is easily accessible by public transportation. (As you exit the subway and look left 1 block north towards Bay Ridge Parkway, you will see the large grey church building on the corner.)
TRAINS: Bay Ridge is serviced by the R Train which runs under Fourth Avenue. The stop closest to the church is 77th Street. Walk north to Bay Ridge Parkway (75th Street).
BUSES: There are three bus lines that stop within close proximity of the Church.
B4 - which travels along Bay Ridge Parkway (75th Street) and stops at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway. Cross Bay Ridge Parkway.
B70 - which travels along Third Avenue and stops at Third Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway. Walk east one block to Fourth Avenue.
B63 - which travels along Fifth Avenue and stops at Fifth Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway. Walk west one block to Fourth Avenue.
Church Campus:
The main church building has 2 entrances (red doors). The one on the
left leads to the Sanctuary, and the one on the right leads to the adjacent room
we call the 'Soul Cafe'. Most events take place in the Soul Cafe (which
can be entered through the right hand door).
Some other weekly events take place in the 'Church Offices' - and area to the
right of the main church building where the address appears on the wall
(7420). Walk through the black gates, up the short pathway to the
'cloister like' arches, and through the doors to the left. The 'Conference
Room' is on ground level to the left, and the 'Parlor Room' is on the
second floor and to the right at the end of the hallway.
