Transitioning from social distancing to social solidarity
We are transitioning from SOCIAL DISTANCING to SOCIAL SOLIDARITY. We have an active food pantry two times a week (Tuesday and Thursday) at 3 p.m. Your family can pick up a week's worth of produce and basic nonperishable foods. If you have other needs (Pampers e.g.), let us know. If you are infected and need to speak with any of us or need warmed food, contact us about our drop-off service. We deliver fresh produce and/or warmed meals. During the crisis, we are limiting all gatherings and face-to-face meetings and only gradually opening up for face-to-face activities. It is a moral imperative to care for each other and thus we need to follow the health protocols. We have an online (Zoom) service or you can call in on Sunday to worship with us at 10:45 a.m. We also have a Spanish virtual worship service at 1 p.m. every Sunday. Services are followed by online community time. If you need to contact me for more information or emergencies, do call me at 347-369-1959 or e-mail me at: firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you. Rev. Juan Carlos Ruiz
Tuesdays and Thursdays
On Tuesday and Thursday the food pantry is available from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Families can receive a week's worth of produce and basic nonperishable foods. Please let us know if you need other supplies such as Pampers.
Every Saturday morning our sewing and construction cooperatives meet for training and projects. (These are currently full, but for information about them and to make donations of money or supplies, please contact Rev. Juan Carlos. You can also suggest ideas for projects.) On Saturday afternoons at 3 p.m. we have at last started having in-person community gatherings for togetherness , music, gardening, and announcements - all with proper precautions of course.
Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering or donating to any of these activities. Everything else is canceled until further notice.

We offer free instruction for beginners, and experts and all levels are welcome! Feel free to call today if you’d like a prayer shawl or lap blanket for any person who you think would be comforted to know that we are sending prayers their way for whatever is occurring in their lives.
